How to resolve a Late Fee validation

You may want to research the payment history of the invoice before actioning this validation. You can review the invoice history in Archive or confer with your AP Department to see when checks were issued and the check amounts.

In the event the validation Late Fee is triggered for an invoice, you can resolve it by completing the following steps.

  1. Click on the triggered icon under the Late Fee column.

  1. In the pop-up widow, you will have the option to Approve Late Fee. This means the late fee amount will be allocated as part of your Current Charge. If the late fee is not valid, then no action is required.
